From Darkness to Real Light

That Pujya Guruji is so generous and gracious to the known as well as to the unknown, I had the first hand experience when I recently visited Gurgaon Sthan and Neelkanth Dham on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. What a multitude of people, what faith and reverence the devotees have, one has to see to believe it. It is beyond expression of words.

My bua, who lives in Shahjahanpur, has been suffering from cancer, kidney stone and other ailments for the last three years and has been undergoing treatment in a very reputed hospital in Lucknow, under the supervision of senior doctors. Looking to the acuteness of her problems, she has been administered very strong medicines which have affected the functioning of certain vital organs of her body, leading to deterioration of her condition. She became mentally sick, lost her sleep and went into depression. In that state of depression, once she even attempted to end her life.

But then, as the saying goes, jis ko raakhe sainya…, one of my friends who is a regular visitor to Gurgaon/Neelkanth Sthans, shifted to Shahjahanpur and suggested me to get in touch with Shri Ravi Trehan Guruji and explain to him the problem. Under the guidance of Shri Ravi Trehan Guruji we immediately started giving her sanctified Jal , laung and elaichis (that my friend at Shahjahanpur arranged for us). To our amazement, the traumatic situation started getting reversed and positive results started appearing. In a matter of few days, she regained her long lost peace of mind and desperately needed sleep. This was truly a miracle for all those near and dear ones who had earlier seen her in a pathetic condition.

Shri Ravi Trehan Guruji instructed us to come to Gurgaon Sthan and Neelkanth Dham on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. We were all overawed to see the congregation of devotees at these two holy places and a number of Gurujis (Bade Guruji’s shishyas, we came to know, are also called Gurujis here) rendering selfless service to people and giving relief to the suffering humanity. We bowed our head in reverence at Pujya Guruji’s Samadhi, took Shri Malhotra Guruji’s blessings (he is popularly known as Papaji and is the senior- most Shishya of Bade Guruji) and went to Shri Ravi Trehan Guruji, who gave us instructions about the narial, narial laung to be swallowed with its jal, and subsequent use of laung, elaichi, shyam varan tulsi and supari paste etc. and we returned home the next day.

Pleasantly surprising, throughout this to and fro journey – Shahjahanpur-Gurgaon-Neelkanth-Shahjahanpur – lasting 48 hours, my Bua did not take any medicine (that she has been used to taking daily) and yet she was feeling quite normal. After coming back home from the above two Sthans, she has shown tremendous improvement in less than a month’s time. She is now cheerful, peaceful and is able to sleep well. We bow our head at the lotus feet of Pujya Guruji who has virtually given her a second life. He is gracious, benevolent and merciful to his devotees and his exalted shishyas (present Gurujis) are continuing this tradition. My heartfelt gratitude to Shri Ravi Trehan Guruji who showed us the way to this Holy Place and gave us valuable guidance. Visit to Gurgaon Sthan and Neelkanrth Dham was much more than a pilgrimage. It appears that we have so far been groping in the darkness and have been able to see the real light of the day only now.

AUM NAMOH SHIV AUM,
AUM NAMOH GURUDEV
